At Brix + Bailey, we pride ourselves on crafting bags that we love, but they are also built to last. Our commitment to sustainability means each bag is designed to be repairable and recyclable, aiming to minimize environmental impact and avoid landfill disposal.

As a proud family owned business that strives to be as sustainable as possible, we aim to reduce returns as much as possible. We strive to craft high quality products that last to reduce returns and landfill.

Question: What happens to that coat you ordered, only to find it's too small upon  arrival?

Answer: Initially, it needs to make the journey back from your house to the warehouse, consuming fuel in the process.

However, the return journey is just the beginning for the item. Some pieces require reconditioning to mend any damage or erase traces of their travels. Others need new packaging before they can be sent out again, incurring additional costs from the use of extra cardboard and plastics. And some items are destined for disposal, which is not only a loss for the company but also a detriment to environmental sustainability. This entire process comes with significant costs, affecting both the business involved and the planet's well-being.


Product Repairs:

To maximize your bag, accessories, clothing....[ the list is endless...] lifespan, we recommend the amazing team at The Seam, the specialist company that repairs and transforms like magic with their expert care and repair service.

If you have exhausted all other options and decide to proceed with a return, please review our return policy below and follow the instructions provided below.


Standard Returns and Exchanges:

We hope you fall in love with your purchase from Brix + Bailey. However, if you find yourself reconsidering, you have 14 days from purchase to return it to us, provided the item is in its original condition, in it's dust bag—clean, unworn, and unused. We also request that the original box is returned back to us so it can be resued or recycled.


How to Return or Exchange:

Parcel everything up and book and purchase a trackable returns label
Remember, the responsibility for the return remains with you until the item safely arrives at our facility, so we recommend obtaining proof of postage.
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving your returned item. We aim to process your return as soon as possible, but in super busy times it can take a few days extra...we thank you for your patience.
For the safety of your return, we suggest using a registered postal service, retaining the tracking information, as we cannot refund items that do not arrive at our warehouse.


Our Returns Criteria:

Items must be returned in their original state: unused, unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags and, where applicable, hygiene stickers attached. Returns should include all original packaging, such as dust bags, jewelry boxes, and garment tags, to ensure a successful refund.
To be accepted, all items must be in pristine condition. Returns that show signs of use, damage, staining, or are missing their original labels may be rejected.
For products featuring hygiene stickers (like swimwear), these stickers must remain in place.
Please note, custom-made, personalized, or made-to-order products are not eligible for return or refund.
Due to hygiene concerns, underwear and jewelry are not returnable, except in cases of a fault.


Faulty Items:

If you receive an item that is faulty, please contact us immediately at mail@brixbailey.com with a photo of the defect. We will arrange for the return of the faulty item and process your refund promptly.


Exchanges:

We work with a variety of brand partners, some of whom permit exchanges while others may only offer returns and refunds.

Return Address:

You will find this on your packing list sent with your purcashe - please ensure you add this packing list inside your box so our lovely warehouse team can tie your return to your order.


Refund Processing Time:

Please allow up to 14 days from the time we receive your return for it to be processed. We strive to complete returns swiftly, but during peak times such as holidays and sales, delays may occur.
